Welcome to Dr. John Celona's pediatric dentistry! We were established in 1996 in Howard Beach, NY. Currently, we have a staff of 14 part/full time workers, each giving that TLC (Tender Loving Care) to every patient! Our practice is limited to children's dentistry.
For the past 15 years, Dr. John (pictured at right) has been an adjunct professor at Lutheran Medical Center in Sunset Park Brooklyn in the Pediatric Dental Department. Dr. John also does hands on visits during Dental Health Month to local public, private and parochial schools for presentations on dental health to young children. He teaches them how to practice good dental hygiene and to keep those cavities away! For a list of schools he has visited, please see our schools page.
There is also an orthodontist that is part of our family named Dr. Om. He is available on Fridays until 7pm to accommodate working families. He has been part of our staff since 1998.
Our office is loaded with goodies to make our patients feel comfortable and relaxed for their visit. Our waiting area (pictured above) comes with children's television, video games, a memory puzzle, tic-tac-toe and some funny mirrors! We have three themed rooms (see our rooms page).
Be sure you join our "No Cavity Club" by coming to the office with no cavities! Your picture will be taken and placed in our photo books (only for use in the office).
We operate by appointment only. Please call our office ahead of time to schedule an appointment for either Dr. John or Dr. Om. You may leave a message as well. Payment is expected at the time of visit. We accept all major credit cards, cash or a personal check. In addition, we are participants of the following insurances: AETNA PPO, MetLife, Delta Dental, Cigna PPO, DHA, First Fortis. Most other insurances are accepted for partial payment.
